The World Bank Group Framework/ IFC Strategy For Engagement in The Palm Oil Sector has identified Smallholders Development as a top priority in achieving more quitable benefit-sharing and better livelihoods for smallholders.
IFC’S Indonesian Palm Oil Developemnt for Smallholders is an innovative project to improve The Livehoods and Sustainability Performance of Independent Smallholders, IFC in Partnership with PT. MUSIM MAS in currently implementing The Project in Four Locations, Namely in Labuhan Batu In North Sumatra and Pelalawan, Rokan Hulu and Rokan Hilir in Riau Province. in Order to Ensure Smooth Implementation of The Project, IFC is seeking four individuals to be Project Coordinators
The Project Coordinator will be responsible in developing implementation strategy within the given Framework and Manage/Supervise The Field Activities in their respective areas to ensure success of the overal project. This include daily coordination with IFC clients and related counterparts such as Dinas Perkebunan, Provincial Goverment and other relevant districs as well as day to day Management on field office Including Supervisor of Field Staffs.
IFC is Especially intrested in identifying the candidates, with the following skills:
- Good command of English, Bahasa Indonesia and Local Language/ Dialect
- Good experience of Agricultural Project Management Focusing on Oil Palm Smallholder Development
- Good knowledge of sustainability standards
- Strong leadership and communications skills
- Ability to work in a challenging environment
- Problem solving and strategic planning ability
- Flexible, team player, proactive, initiative, good integrity and discipline
